My two new guitar pieces Preludi paralleli are going to be released. They are dedicated to the memory of Giacomo Puccini and Gabriel Fauré on the occasion of the first centenary of their deaths. The two pieces were commissioned by the famous duo formed by Marco and Stefano Bonfanti and will have their first performance on 13 June 2024 at the "Puccini" Conservatory in Gallarate (Italy).

As part of the program L'angolo della musica classical (Classical music's corner) - hosted by Oretta Pierrotti Cei on Radio Libertà - the excellent Italian flutist Antonella Bini once again performed my Das klingende Lied IV; Marcello Parolini, conductor of the Achrome Ensemble of which the performer is a member, was also present. In the Locatelli Hall in Bergamo (Italy) I had the privilege to give a talk on the theme "Present music:: is there still room for the sacred?". The speech - as part of one of the initiatives for the centenary of the SIMC - Società Italiana Musica Contemporanea - was entitled "Composing music today: a useless sacrifice?" and, together with other interventions by Renzo Cresti, Claudio Riva, Biagio Putignano, Cristian Gentilini and Andrea Talmelli, contributed to addressing a particular, but fundamental, theme for artistic creativity. The lecture was completed by the screening of the work Via Crucis created with the panels painted by Vittorio Sedini and my music specifically created.

It is a great satisfaction to announce the first performance of Losing the Paradise for soprano/baritone sax and orchestra. The soloist was the great Mario Marzi accompanied by the Euroregional Alpen Classica Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sebastiano De Salvo. The concert took place in the Great Hall of the Cusanus Akademie, Bressanone/Brixen (Italy).

On Friday 20 October 2023 the great Italian guitarist Nicolò Spera premièred my new piece for ten-string guitar Sous les jardins du ciel. The first performance took place in Kingston (Rhode Island) as part of the URI GUITAR FESTIVAL 2023 organized by the University of Rhode Island (USA). A great joy, indeed.

I gave a lecture on my guitar production for the "G.Puccini" Conservatory of Gallarate (I). The meeting - which enjoyed the unvaluable artistic collaboration of Maestro Marco Bonfanti - focused on my recent Studies Uneven clocks and took place at the Teatro del Popolo, Gallarate.

In Rovigo (Italy), the well known guitarist Luciano Chillemi will be at work twice on my 4 Nuovi Studi for guitar (2011). On Thursday 23rd he will perform all of them at the "Marco Tamburini" Auditorium (6.00pm) and on Friday 24th he will give a lectio magistralis on them at the Concert Hall of Palazzo Venezze (11.45am). The excellent Agorart Ensemble made up by Davide Baldo (alto flute), Emanuele Dalmaso (bass clarinet), Mattia Grott (soprano sax), Cosimo Colazzo (piano) performed the world premiere of my piece Revolving. The concert was held in the magnificent Philharmonic Hall in Rovereto (Italy).

Giacomo Brunini presented his newest solo CD Sacrae chitarra. It is a stimulating project including pieces of religious inspiration that ancient and modern authors have dedicated to the guitar. Among others there is my Versus, born from the elaboration of the incipit of an ancient Gregorian Kyrie. The presentation concert took place at the auditorium of the Sinfonia Music School, Lucca, Italy.

As part of the important season ALTA PRESSIONE – Musiche in Mostra al presente, my new "welcoming music" entitled Espace éternel was premièred. It was designed ad hoc in full respect of the environment that hosted the program of the Ukrainian violinist Natalia Borysiuk and by the Spanish pianist Melani Mestre. Inner Sounds for violin will once again be interpreted by the young and talented Roberto Arnoldi. The performance will take place as a part of the joint initiative SIMC - Italian Society of Contemporary Music / "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Milan "Ogn'uom senta: Dante e la musica", on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the great poet's death. The appointment is for Friday 19 November 2021, at 2.45 pm, Sala Puccini of the Milan Conservatory.

Come Natura was played twice again in Como (Italy), Teatro Sociale, thursday 28 October 2021 and in Università per Stranieri, Siena (Italy), Friday 29 October 2021. The players will be the members of the outstanding Italian Quartetto Indaco (Eleonora Matsuno, violin - Ida di Vita, violin - Jamiang Santi, viola - Cosimo Carovani cello).
The work is a part of the Dante21 project, planned by the quartet itself an by the Italian publisher Sconfinarte Edizioni Musicali. The project is made by 34 short string quartets, each of one inspired by one of the Cantos of the Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy": the Hell. An ambitious and lucky project, indeed.

Visibile, invisibile will be once more played by the outstanding Italian clarinetist Raffaele Bertolini (member of the Hybrid Ensemble) during the concert series "Les concerts du Foyer européen" in Luxembourg. You may have a look of the score here.

Thanks a lot to Marco Bonfanti who inspired my work and recorded the seven pieces. A CD is attached to the publication. And thanks to Edizioni Sinfonica and its Artistic Director Bruno Giuffredi who made this adventure possible.

BAM International is issuing a new album with five new works of mine for violin and organ - Five Mysteries. My new pieces are put next to a selection out of the famous Rosenkranzsonaten (Rosary Sonatas) by Heinrich Ignaz von Biber (1644-1704). The five new works are inspired by the Mysteries of Light that Pope John Paul II introduced in the current practice of Rosary.
The outstanding performers are Marco Rizzi (violin), Emanuele Vianelli (organ), Kerem Brera (cello).

They studied with Sonig Tchakerian and were accompanied by the pianist Akané Makita. A quite unexpected surprise and a great honour, for me!

During the concert series RISUONANZE 2019, my new work Le regard des autres was prémiered in the Casa Cavazzini Museum, Udine (Italy). The three excellent players were Tiziano Cantoni (flute), Nicola Bulfone (clarinet) and Enrico Cossio (oboe).

During the concert series ContemporaryFestival 2019, Alt(r)e Frequenze Piccolo Quartet played once more my piece En Haut for four piccolos. The performance took place in San Giuseppe in Valleggio church, Como (Italy). The outstanding players were Alessandra Aitini, Fosca Briante, Daniela Vilasi and Anna Govetto.

Once again, the outstanding Italian player Raffaele Bertolini played Visibile, invisibile during the Kosova Kamerafest 2018 in Pristina (Kosovo).

The renowned Italian Dèdalo Ensemble, conducted by Vittorio Parisi, played again Wide,   Ad Infinitum and Misty Lights in the Italian Institute for Culture, Budapest (Hungary). The group was made up by Daniela Cima - flutes, Nicola Zuccalà - clarinets, Giacomo Invernizzi - violin, Carlo Costalbano - viola, Matteo Zurletti - cello, Elena Pasotti - piano.

Sogni accelerati for actor and violin was premièred in Albino (Italy), St. Bartolomeo church. Texts by Barbara Rabita and Antonio Laneve.  Roberto Arnoldi,  violin and Diego Ghisetti, actor.

En haut will be played again by the  excellent Italian Quartet Alt(r)e Frequenze during the concert series CafèRossettiMusica 2018. The concert will be at 11AM at Cafè Rossetti, Largo Gaber 2, Trieste, Italy. Listen again to it!

EMA Vinci Records just released my second album AURA: a long desired result. Thanks to Giuseppe Scali and Marco Cardone for their invaluable work! The disc is available on the Publisher's website and on all of the main e-commerce sites.

Magnificamus te, Dei Genitrix for male choir (TTB) was premièred in Turin (Italy) during the concert series Laudes Paschales 2018. It was sung by the Male Choir of the Milan Cathedral, conducted by Claudio Riva. Alessandro Giulini seated at the organ console. The concert took place in the Misericordia Church, Turin, Italy.

During the MILANO DIGITAL WEEK 2018, Radio Raheem broadcasted an interview of mine, conducted by Shari Delorian. Some of my works were broadcasted from the renowned Branca Tower, Milan, Italy.

En haut for four piccolos premièred by Alt(r)e Frequenze quartet, made by Daniela Vilasi, Fosca Briante, Alessandra Aitini and Anna Govetto. The concert took place at MaMu - Magazzino Musica, Milan, Italy. Listen to it!

Super Flumina Babylonis will be repeated by the Coro Virile della Cappella Musicale del Duomo di Milano, Claudio Riva - conductor, in some more Japanese locations: 02/12/2017 Kanagawa - Kanack Hall; 03/12/2017 Inami - Cultural Centre; 05/12/2017 Osaka - Symphony Hall; 08/12/2017 Nagoya - Nisshin Shimin Kaikan.

Super Flumina Babylonis will be sung again by the Male Choir of the Cappella Musicale del Duomo of Milan, directed by Claudio Riva. The concert will take place at the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokio, Japan.

The well known Duo Alterno (Tiziana Scandaletti, soprano - Riccardo Piacentini, piano) will play again Alta Marea, text by Annalisa Manstretta, at the VII Festival of Contemporary Music - 6-11 PM, Istituto Musicale Masini, C.so Garibaldi 98, Forlì (Italy).

The speakers will be Giuseppe Scali CEO EMA Vinci records, Lucio Gregoretti president of Nuova Consonanza, Marcello Panni composer, Paolo Carlini bassoonist.

ADS for bass clarinet was played again by Raffaele Bertolini at Festival Contemporanea...mente 2017, (Artistic Director: Massimo Testa). The concert was performed by the Italian New MADE Ensemble directed by Alessandro Calcagnile. It took place in Carmine Church, Avellino (Italy).

Inner Sounds for solo violin was played again by Roberto Arnoldi during the event Arte sul Serio 2017. The concert took place in St. Bartolomeo church, Albino, Italy.

ADS for solo bass clarinet was played once more by Raffaele Bertolini during the concert series Risvegli di città 2017. The concert - promoted by SIMC, Italian Society for Contemporary Music - took place in Spazio Tadini, Milan, Italy.

Minus for solo bassoon was issued by Ema Vinci Records, Italy, inside the SIAE-Classici di Oggi project. Greatly honoured to be listed among such huge composers. And forever grateful to the outstanding Italian bassoonist Paolo Carlini.

Broken Leaves was played again in Bortigiadas (Sardinia, Italy) by the young but outstanding Duo Dario Atzori - Giacomo Brunini, The concert was a part of the concert series Onde Sonore 2017.

My new work One step above was premièred at the outstanding Italian Festival RISUONANZE 2017. The excellent players were Tommaso Bisiak (flute) and Reana De Luca (piano). The concert took place in the Auditorium Venier, Pasian Di Prato (Italy). Listen to the piece!

The young and excellent recorder player Luca Anna Varhelyi premièred Fil Rouge for tenor recorder and two cellos. She played the piece during her final concert/examination at the Universität für Musik und dastellende Kunst in Wien. Zsuzsanna Pazmandi and Janos Ripka were the cellists.

Jury member at San Fedele 2017 Prize, Centro Culturale San Fedele, Milan (Italy).

During the Rotaract 2017 Festival , the Italian brilliant violinist Roberto Arnoldi played again Inner Sounds. The concert took place in S.Maria Church, Campomorto, Siziano (Italy).

My new symphonic work L'horizon doublé was premièred during the concert series 2017 of the Symphonic Orchestra of Sanremo. The concert took place at the Opera Theatre of Casinò Municipale, Sanremo (Italy).

During the concert series New MADE Week 2017, Raffaele Bertolini - member of the New MADE Ensemble - played again ADS for bass clarinet. The concert took place in the Centro Culturale La Vetreria – Ex Vetreria Pirri, Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy).

During the Festival 5 Giornate 2017, I gave a short lecture at the conference Boulez è morto (?). My speech Writing with Boulez: a journey towards inside was in the Spazio Schiapparelli, Milan, Italy. The event was created in partnership between Centro Musica Contemporanea and SIMC - Italian Society for Contemporary Music. Andrea Talmelli was the Chairman.

During the Festival 5 Giornate 2017, my new piece Nouveaux domaines was premièred by the excellent German flautist Birgit Nolte. The concert- titled Hommage à Pierre Boulez - took place in the Museo del Novecento, Milan, Italy.

The excellent Raffaele Bertolini played again ADS in the Auditorium of Assumption University - Department of Music Performance and in Siam Ratchada Auditorium, Bangkok (Thailand).

The outstanding bassoonist Paolo Carlini played again Minus at REBUS 2016 Festival. The concert took place at Spazio Schiapparelli, Via Settembrini 4 , Milan (Italy). The concert series is promoted by Centro Musica Contemporanea with Edizioni Sconfinarte.

The renowned Italian Dèdalo Ensemble, conducted by Vittorio Parisi, premièred Misty Lights for flute, clarinet,violin, viola, cello and piano. The outstanding players were Daniela Cima (flute), Nicola Zuccalà (clarinet), Giacomo Invernizzi (violin), Carlo Costalbano (viola), Matteo Zurletti (cello), Elena Pasotti (piano). I was composer in residence for the group. The concert was a part of the series Sulle Ali del Novecento XXII.

The guitar Duo Dario Atzori/Giacomo Brunini played again Danze Interrotte  in Luccalibri, Lucca (Italy). Concert series CLUSTER 2016.

The renowned Italian Dèdalo Ensemble, conducted by Vittorio Parisi, premièred Ad Infinitum for flute, clarinet and violin. I am composer in residence for the group. The excellent pianist will be Elena Pasotti. The concert was a part of the series Sulle Ali del Novecento XXII.
